The Physical Geography and Landscape Ecology Section has signed an agreement with the State Office for Geoinformation and Land Surveying of Lower Saxony (LGLN) on closer co-operation. The object of this agreement is to improve co-operation in the training of students and scientific collaboration with the aim of establishing long-term co-operation between the LGLN and the PhyGeo in primarily scientific training and research. This includes, among other things, the support of our B.Sc. geography degree courses in the specialisation of physical geography with the supplementary area of geoinformatics and the M.Sc. landscape sciences with a focus on GIS and modelling as part of the biStudies and practical studies by the LGLN.
