Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
The Institute of Earth System Sciences (IESW) is largely responsible for the education of students in the fields of Geosciences and Geography (together with the Institute of Economic and Cultural Geography). Three Bachelor's and three Master's degree programmes are offered, which also cover teacher training for the subject of Geography at secondary school level. The IESW is also involved in numerous other degree programmes offered by the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Architecture and Landscape Sciences and the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodetic Science.
