For safety at work and in the field: To refresh our knowledge, a first aid course was held on 5th March 2025 under the direction of Malteser Hilfsdienst with 12 colleagues from the PhyGeo section – Physical Geography and Digital Landscape Ecology. In addition to the common life-saving emergency measures, including CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), the recovery position or treating bleeding wounds, we focused primarily on important techniques for accidents and risks in the field, such as heat and cold, bites and fractures.
We are now well equipped and looking forward to the upcoming excursion season!
